Put an end to underarm perspiration and unpleasant odor

Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) affects the daily lives and quality of life of millions of people, whether through fear of sweating, discolored clothing, or social isolation.

Thanks to MIRADRY ®, this is now a thing of the past - without harsh chemicals and without surgical intervention. MIRADRY ® uses the only non-invasive, clinically tested and FDA approved technology to significantly and permanently reduce underarm sweat & odor. The sweat glands and scent glands are destroyed using targeted energy (microwaves). As a side effect, reduced hair growth is also observed. In 82% of patients, a single treatment (1 hour) is sufficient for a permanent result.

The treatment is performed under local anesthesia with continuous cooling of the skin so that you do not feel any pain. Shortly after the treatment, most patients already notice a strong reduction in sweating. Side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising. You can resume work immediately and return to sports after a few days.

Botox against excessive sweating

For heavy sweating on the palms of the hands or soles of the feet, the only treatment currently available is Botox. Botox injections into the corresponding skin area cause a complete stop of sweat secretion. The effect lasts for about six months.

The formation of odor is not stopped by Botox - therefore Botox against underarm perspiration is inferior to Miradry treatment (Miradry has a permanent effect against perspiration and odor).

Sweat gland suction

Sweating is the body's normal reaction to excessive heat. Sweat glands are located in the skin and can be found all over the body - but they are particularly dense on the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet and in the armpits. Since excessive sweat secretion is often also associated with unpleasant odor and stains on clothing, this is perceived as very annoying.

Suction of the sweat glands by means of a special curette is a permanent solution, but usually does not produce one hundred percent dryness like Botox. The operation is performed under twilight sleep. Afterwards, one wears a compression shirt for a week.
